Today the children wrapped well and joined the Asby Tree Group to plant some trees. They were able to tell ATG about why it is important that we plant trees: to absorb CO2, help wildlife and protect the beck banks as just some of them.
First of all, the children helped to plant a handkerchief tree to mark the impact of COVID-19 on our community and the entire world. Then they all planted a willow tree on the bank of beck. This is to help stop the bank collapsing into the water.
