The children in Class One enjoyed their second day learning all about bees. They learnt how the bee can get the pollen from the flower, finding more about parts of a flower which could help or hinder this process. The children had a go at being a bee and trying to get the pollen from the plant.
They then went on to design their own flower using their knowledge of how bees get pollen. They had great fun selecting from all the exciting resources and all children made a lovely flower.
Thanks again to Penrith Beekeepers Association for providing these fun activities for the children.
