On Monday the children had a visit to Old Trafford and Manchester United for an anti racism workshop. It was very exciting to be at such a massive stadium.
The children learned about how football is working on tackling racism in the game. They were also told about how important it is to get an education even if you are going to have a sporting career.
Then everyone (including staff) got to try on shirts & boots that had actually been worn at games at Old Trafford. We all looked very sporty!
Finally, a guide took us all around the stadium. We got to see where the players put on their shirts, walked out as if playing a match, sat in the dugout and the directors' box.
