Viking Science

Both Class 1 and Class 2 came together to do some Viking Science. They investigated what food sources yeast liked the best to produce carbon dioxide.


In groups they carefully weighed out the items and made sure they were all the same. Each labelled bag was shaken and then left out in the sun for 15 minutes. 


Whilst waiting the children collected elderflowers from the school grounds and prepared them for making elderflower cordial.
