Wilderness Bell Boats
All the children had a lot of fun at Grassholme reservoir with Wilderness Outdoor Education. They launched the bell boat and paddled it up the water. To keep going lots of sea shanties and pirate songs were needed.
Lunch was eaten on the shore. It was lovely to get a mug of hot chocolate, cream and marshmallows.
Then everyone had to paddle back to the jetty and help carry the boat back to its storage. Some very tired children (and adults) were dozing on the bus home!
