Everyone had a fabulous day at the Westmorland Show. For many of them it was their first visit. We saw lots of different sheep, cows, pigs and some alpacas. There were so many different colours, shapes and sizes. Whilst eating lunch we watched the carriage riding.
A stone mason from Liverpool showed us how to carve stones and the year 6s got a chance to have a go. We got to watch men having competitions with axes and saws chopping wood.
There were plenty of vintage tractors and modern vehicles to look at. The children were telling the adults what each vehicle was for on their farms.
We were very lucky to be treated to ice creams as it was such a hot day.
