For a school of our size, we have an active PTA called the Friends of Asby School.  They meet with Mr Liles and the team throughout the year to plan events and fundraising opportunities that benefit all pupils and parents.  

Many of the trips and out-of-school activities we plan are partially or fully subsidised because of contributions made by the Friends.

Whenever we put an event on for the community, it's our Friends of Asby School volunteers making the teas and serving cake!

The Friends are always looking for more members to join and they don't need to be parents of our current pupils.  If you're a grandparent connected to the school, a neighbour of the village, or have any other link to the school, you can be a Friend of Asby School.
