Attendance is a strength of the school and remained steady over the recent years with 97.1% in 2022 -2023.
It is important that you inform us as soon as possible if your child is going to be absent from school because of illness or a medical appointment. If we do not hear from you by 9.30am on the day of absence we will contact you for further information.

*The school is unable to authorise absences in term-time apart from in exceptional circumstances. If you need to request time off for your child then please inform the school in writing as soon as possible in advance of the requested dates. Westmorland and Furness Council can choose to issue a fixed penalty notice if any unauthorised absences are accompanied by poor attendance and poor academic achievement.
