A Visit From Tom Palmer

Today, we were fortunate enough to be visited by acclaimed author, Tom Palmer. This was especially exciting for children in Class 2 as we they are currently reading After The War (Auschwitz to Ambleside) as our class text!

 

We were able to quiz Tom on the whole process of writing, editing and publishing a book, before taking part in a quiz on local WWII history. As a result, children in Key Stage 2 have been inspired to write and read. Mr. Davis already has plans to use some of his other books in English lessons...
